However, with our recent appointment as an official ambassador for EWIF (Encouraging Women into Franchising), we are thrilled that we can now take this commitment to the next level.
EWIF, a not-for-profit organization, was founded in 2008 with a mission to support and encourage women to consider and ultimately engage in franchising as a business opportunity. By offering advice, support, and networking opportunities, EWIF aims to create an environment where women can succeed in the franchising industry. EWIF aims to educate, inspire and empower women, values which very much align with our own as a franchise. As an EWIF ambassador, Sylvian Care will play an active role in promoting the organization’s goals by sharing its experiences and success stories in franchising.
One of the owners and founders of the Sylvian Care franchise, Cristina Grancea, has her own inspiring personal story that adds a unique depth to the company’s commitment to supporting women in franchising. As a foreigner and a single mother, she overcame numerous challenges, including fleeing domestic violence and raising a small child, to build a successful business with her brother. Their perseverance and determination have resulted in a thriving company with 26 franchises across the UK.
